WeHelpTroubledTeens.com
WeHelpTroubledTeens.com is a unique directory of
troubled teens schools and programs offered to you by Zion Educational
Systems. ZES exists for one reason, and that is to help the parents
of troubled teens find the perfect school or program for their child.
What is unique about WeHelpTroubledTeens is that this directory
will only list small, yet powerful (quality), schools and programs.
These smaller schools and programs for troubled teens struggle to
compete against the big marketing machines of the troubled teen
schools owned and operated by huge corporations. If you have done
a simple Google, Yahoo, or MSN search on the term “troubled
teen” you will easily find the big corporate owned schools
who throw hundreds of thousands of dollars at search engines to
dominate the top sponsored positions. Ninety-five percent of the
available schools for troubled teens cant afford to pay for the
sponsored spots. Therefore, parents cant find them.
Moreover, if you have not noticed there are only a
few schools dominating the top 10 placements on the search engines.
These huge corporations (corporate owned schools and programs) have
money to burn on Internet marketing (Search Engine Optimization)
and subsequently choke off the smaller schools and programs. Additionally,
smaller schools just can’t afford to spend hundreds of thousands
of dollars per year on Internet marketing like the bigger school
conglomerates can. (Place the name of the site here) is a cooperative
and collective effort by several “smaller guys” who
are putting their efforts together to compete against the bigger
corporation. The important thing is this… now parents will
be able to find the smaller schools that offer quality services
for less cost. Now the little school with the small marketing budget
will be able to market their services to parents who normally would
never know that they exist. The outcome…. Parents and families
win!
Therapeutic Wilderness programs are powerful
options for parents of troubled teens seeking answers to their child’s
out of control behavior. Most wilderness programs are designed to
be short-term interventions with the goal to gain insight and understanding
to why their troubled teen is acting out. Most wilderness programs
are really assessment courses where the therapeutic process uncovers
the underlining issues that are driving the troubled teens to act
out. In most cases the wilderness program refer their graduates
on to long term therapeutic programs where the student can receive
treatment for the issues uncovered during the wilderness trek.
Wilderness programs are not substitutes for therapeutic
treatment-based programs. Meaning, some parents want a quick fix.
For example, if your son or daughter has drug and alcohol problems
a wilderness program will not provide the treatment they need. In
cases of drug and alcohol abuse issues a wilderness program can
help the child to “open their eyes” and accept the fact
that they need treatment, but the wilderness program does not provide
the treatment they need.
